Supinator- cylindrical shaped muscle in the forearm

Origin: there are a few points of origin near the elbow joint 
<ul><li>lateral epicondyle of the humerus(small round prominence at the bottom of the humerus)</li><li>radial collateral ligament(ligament located on the outside of the elbow joint)</li><li>supinator crest of the ulna(raised ridge that runs down the ulna)</li><li>annular ligament(ligament that surrounds the top of the radius and connects it to the ulna)</li></ul><img src="https://study.com/cimages/multimages/16/elbow_joint.jpg" alt="Image result for supinator origin" title="Image result for supinator origin" style="height: 216px; width: 218px;" /> 
Insertion: Anterior, lateral surface of proximal one-third crest of the radial shaft 
 
Action: Rotates the forearm so the palm is facing upward
